all at your finger tips. Located in the heart of Solano County, literally a short distance drive
from the Golden Gate Bridge and Downtown area of San Francisco. Vallejo sits at an elevation of 60 feet and with a population around 119,593. Located in what is known as the San Francisco Bay Area and on the northern shore of San Pablo Bay, Vallejo is positioned 32 miles north of San Francisco, 57 miles southwest of Sacramento and 384 miles northwest of Los Angeles. Vallejo observes an average of 298 days of sunshine per year, with temperatures in the low 40's to high 70's in the winter months, and low 60's to the high 80's Fahrenheit in the summer months. There are so many activities to enjoy here, from relaxed to action-packed. The San Francisco Bay Area is home to a number of festivals throughout the year, including the Bay Area Rock Fest, San Francisco Jazz Festival, Castro Street Fair, Folsom Street Fair, Gay Pride Parade and Festival, Loveparade, and of course San Francisco Chinese New Year, just to mention a few among the throngs. The San Francisco Bay Area also offers Professional Baseball and Football for the fans. At the other end of the recreational spectrum is biking, boating/fishing, hiking/camping, golf, hang gliding/paragliding.
